If you are like me and have a very busy life during the week, sometimes it's difficult to settle down and make yourself find the time to be creative. That's why I've created "Weekend Woollies"; small rug hooking projects that can be completed in a weekend. The first one I'm offering is "Woolly Little Lamb" and measures 10 inches square. The pattern margin is a generous 3-4", which allows ample room for the frame grippers or adding extra finishing touches to the design.
I have hand-drawn the pattern on primitive unbleached linen. Edges are serged to prevent fraying. The finished example shown here was created using 8 cut wool and did NOT include the word "WOOL" as seen on the linen pattern.
Woolly Little Lamb would be great as a child's chair pad, a small wallhanging, or as an addition to a pillow or other household accessory. Mine is currently displayed on my log wall!
